The band was re-born in the Summer of 2003 with the welcome arrival of Brian on Lead Guitar and Jonathan on Keyboards. Doug on Bass and Simon on Drums soon completed the six piece line up.

Many of the original songs were soon re-invented and new songs emerged from Brian, Rob and Tony.With band collaborations and individual songwriters, great new music is constantly expanding the Last Word’s song catalogue.

The Last Word play a combination of melodic rock, pop and bluesy songs with a bit of good old rock ‘ n’ roll thrown in for good measure. All the songs rely on solid rhythm, strong melodies and catchy hooks.

The band members come from South London and Surrey but are based in the Croydon area.
