Hi Tony
Just wanted to say big thank you to you and the rest of the Last Word. You were fantastic and many of the guests commented on how good you were. You certainly helped make Ditchambury a great success - one of our most successful events in recent years.
Thank you too for helping out the school bands - the pupils were apparently raving about your band in school next day.
Thank you to you all again - we will be recommending you to all and you never know we may hold another Ditchambury next year so we can ask you back!
Regards
Lisa

I have seen The Last Word several times now, and they just get better and better, never failing to entertain. From the opening chord of the power pop 'Christine' to the closing classic rock 'n' roll ending of 'Waiting For Your Green Light' the 'boys' had the small but enthusiastic crowd on their feet. A thumping set peppered with gems like 'What's Going On With Me' and the sublime 'I Can't Make You Cry'. A great example of The Last Word doing what they do best. A mighty fine gig, made of even better by the excellent headliners Heymaker who closed the evening with a powerful set of Gallagher influenced songs.

Sutton's Best Band Contest
- Saturday 24th February 2007, The Secombe Theatre, Sutton
Good gig, well staged. Thanks to Gary and Dave from Rock Stock.
Sadly, we didn't win but we seemed to entertain the faithful crowd and local hack.....
"Stones-ey, Fleetwood Mac-ey, a brilliant Saturday night band that showed how to command a stage. Sing-a-long choruses, hand-claps, manic singer, professorial bassist, leather strides, trilbies, they had the lot."
Paul Fleckney - Sutton Guardian
Well done to the over 18's winners Creeper and the overall winners Xenon!
